Building on the foundation of Spanish for Real Life: Year One, as well as Intro to Spanish for Real Life, David Durham takes students to a new level, not only meeting and surpassing academic expectations but, perhaps more importantly, equipping with them with a vital life skill as world citizens.
This proprietary curriculum is designed primarily for home school high schoolers but open to all learners. Each of the 32 weekly lessons consists of an illustrated video lesson, followed by crafted exercises to put the content into practice without too much busy work, a weekly quiz, and cultural materials to expand the students' horizons and prepare them for the real world.
Mr. Durham's courses have been given the Honors designation by Aaron Academy, an umbrella school for home schoolers, and parents and students alike will find his courses challenging, fast-paced, but rewarding.
Requirements:
- Have successfully taken high school Spanish level 1 (if taking the course for credit)
- Be an eager learner, ready to spend the necessary time to succeed (3-4 hours per week)
If you are uncertain whether you are prepared for this course, or if you took your Spanish I elsewhere, email David at [email protected] for a placement test.
