Spanish for Short Term Missions
Take more than just your big heart with you!
Each year, thousands of North Americans head south of the border to come alongside nonprofits, churches, and humanitarian organizations in doing good. And yet so many come back wishing they had been able to communicate more effectively with the local population.
David Durham, who has been speaking and teaching Spanish for decades, offers a mini-course not only on the basics of getting around in a Spanish-speaking country, but also vocabulary for conducting a basic yet meaningful conversation with the people you have come to serve.
This course is designed for you to go through more than once -- especially the last few videos that contain a good deal of specialized vocabulary and whole sentences. If you already have some Spanish under your belt, feel free to breeze through the first couple of videos as you feel inclined. Take it at your own pace -- and enjoy the learning process all the more!
